At the moment I am currently closing down my tropical fish tank and was wandering if I could use the bog wood I have in their for in my spider tank. Would this be ok if cleaned
ANY wood is fine, even if it reeks of Snoek (or Guppy if you are from KZN). Just stay away from the Pinus and Eucalyptus genera. Dry it out somewhat, or just let it dry out in the Tarantulararium.
Now, what the hell is "bog wood"... ?
Most people are like clouds. The sun comes out when they f*ck off...
Bog wood is actually better in tanks as it does not grow mold that easy or decay, you can just wash it under hot water, to rinse the fish tank water and add it to your spider enclosure, it also looks nice.
So a good couple of pros to using it.
As the link posted, you find this kind of wood in Bogs, swamp like.
