Out of curiousity who are the experts, the "experts" and the professionals? I see these terms being banded about this forum a lot lately. I don't know about anyone else but i'd like to know just who I should really be listening to on the forum.

Duke there are no self proclaimed "experts" on this forum only people that the general public see as experts ;)

People that always extend and arm of helpfulness, people like you, uncle Stan, Scarab, Ceratoryrus, HS, .............

and the list goes on ;)

I think everybody has there own opinion when it comes to who's "experts" and who's not.

After this thread I hate the word "EXPERT"

Creator hit the nail on the head.

You see as a group or forum, a part of tarantulas.co.za We are one Big "expert", and we have a huge amount of experties in Spiders, snakes, wild life, plants, birds, fishes, life, work Not one person on here is better than the next, we just have curtain routes that our life's have taken and this means your are an expert in that line of your life  :pinch:

BUT

We have Members who are good at getting Spiders to drop egg sacks.
Members who got it right to breed Rare spider.
Members who breed Brachypelma species.
Members who looks for papers and adds then to the site.
Members who can build cages.
Members who are good at looking after the site.
Members who are good a risk management.
Members who make awesome movies.
members who make the site fun.
Members who still make spelling or punctuation mistakes (me!)
And the list goes on and on and on.

We are all little wheels moving in a bigger machine.
I think some how or another we need to lose this "expert tag" that gets put on people, cause at the end of the day, there is no such thing as expert, just expertise in a field of study, just some one who is still learning as he goes through life!
