i have a problem i have had the Peruvian Blonde (Lasiodorides polycuspulatus)
for just over 5 months now and i have only now noticed that it has one and a half fangs
im not a newbie but i still have not been through this with a T and im guessing its not a common thing
if there is any one here in the forum thats had this happen to you i could do with your advice thanx .

she dose eat but not as often as she use to its becoming a problem now
cause she hasent eaten in a few weeks maybe a month or 2 im not so warred cause they can go a long time with out eating
she is very active and verry aggressive now im taking a guess and saying the reason she has such a temper
is because she might be in pain or like some info on GOOGLE and other sites say they can get pretty aggressive sometimes

That is very weird though. If it's been like that for 5 months it doesn't seem to be bothering the T too much?

I don't think fangs are able to regenerate though.

Seeing that there are fangs still attached to the exuvium after a molt, I reckon they do regenerate.

With regards to pain, I believe it is generally thought that Ts don't have pain sensors. So don't worry about that.

It sure does. It will fall on deaf ears here though.

Fangs can/do regenerate at moults.

Somewhere on the interwebs I read about a T (thing it was a L. Paryhabana) that lost both fangs. They cut the food in many small pieces and it was still able to eat, just a lot less and a lot less often but eventually after a molt its fangs was back, although a lot smaller.

I have had a P. irminia with a broken fang. The same as with limbs, it grows back with the next molt. Maybe then it will be a lithe smaller than the other, but another molt after that it should be fine.
