My redrump started moulting last night and seemed to be finished when I woke this morning. It however seemed very 'weak', sitting with its legs in all funny directions when I arrived home after work. It seems slightly better now that I'm typing this but still not very steady on its feet.

Is this normal 'fatigue' after a moult? How long on average does it take for them to recover? Or is there some other problem?

Hi.
What size is the T?

I find with my bigger ones it sometimes takes a few days to get up to speed again. I just make sure there is always water available ....

Sent from my GT-N7100 a long time ago and far, far away.....

What are your cage conditions like. And how big is the T. When last did it eat.

It could take a week or longer to recover and harden up to the point were your T will act and eat normally

Could you post a pick.

It has just molted out, it will be "weak". it is also soft and needs to harden up.
Basically the spider is jelly that is still busy setting in the fridge.

You will also see your spider stretching out.

The way you can tell that the spider legs and carapace will be see through and white, as the spiders starts hardening up it will start getting color back into body.

Post pictures if you can!

Don't worry to much.

It's about 9cm legspan. Humidity was low at 50% due to me trusting cheap Exo Terra hygrostat but its up now to 80% and monitoring with digital. Temp drops to around 21C at night. It last ate on Friday.
