The runt of my communal isn't doing to well. The bigger ones kept stealing his prey items. I separated him now, but he is very weak. I know balfouri don't like high humidity, so what do I do to get the fella's strength back up so he can feed? Right know he is so weak, he can only drag himself around.

Right now he is in a tub with dry substrate, water dish and next to a heat mat. I added to turkistan roach nymphs to see if he would try them, seems none has been eaten.

Please help :(

Kill the roach nymphs. T will scavenge them easier than catching them especially if it is so weak.
Hope the T pulls through, last resort would be ICU I don't see it being any worse then him not making it without giving the ICU a try.

I get what you're saying, was just wondering how the ICU should be put together, since a conventional ICU would kill it faster as it doesn't like moisture

I would suggest you spray the enclosure a bit. Wet a corner so its a bit damp. As dry as people think they should be in the morning they get very good humidity.

Leave a smallish roach in the enclosure and just leave him. Time will tell.

Sometimes it might seem that they are ill because of the current climate but they can however also just be a weaker or coincidental breed.

I agree with Dimitri

Your spider will be fine with a bit of moist substrate.
I keep my M. balfouri on dry-ish/dampish peat.

As Tyron suggested, pre-kill the prey Item and leave it as close to the spider as you can, and leave the spider be.

Also don't heat the spider with out supplying moisture.
