Hi all, first time on this forum. I am in desperate need of help. My salmon pinks plastic cage fell and I think she is injured. Looks like she hasn't ruptured her abdomen but underneath her carapace seems to be damaged, she is walking fine but there is definitely blood but not large amounts. I tried to apply vasiline as best as I could , does anyone have any advice for me? Extremely worried as I have had her from a 0.5 cm sling, she is now currently around 8 cm. Please help , any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Post photo's if you can.
How is the spider today?

Don't put her back on the peat if you can help, rather put her on paper towels that is lightly misted.

But Vaseline should help to stop the bleeding.
If that does not work you can use superglue to keep the "hole"closed.

She is a lot better and is walking fine, straight after it happened i put her into an ICU tank, that was slightly misted. I am trying to get some photos to post , i think the bleeding has stopped though.
What she is doing is like standing on her tip toes with her abdomen nearly touching the floor and looks like she is grooming but every time i shine a light to see, she stops.
Do you think its wise to feed her or should i just leave her for a few days?

I would leave her for a couple days or even tell the spiders molts again.
If she does have split/tear/hole then it would be better for her it to heal up properly before feeding her.

Also you don't want to weaken the area by feeding her to much.
