After reading Cascade's bite report I did quite a bit of research on how to safely rehouse very venomous T's.

My biggest concern was accidentally harming/killing the spider, as I don't have the brass ones to calmly sit there whilst getting tagged by angry old world arboreals.

The idea was to deny the T the opportunity to warp into outer space when coaxed out of its old home. What I did was to take a 56L clear plastic storage bin, place the old and new enclosure inside, cover it with netting (used an old lace curtain for this), secure the net around the container with elastic and add holes in the net for the paintbrush and soft bendy thing.

It worked like a charm. First thing the T did was sprint up the paintbrush and onto the inside of the netting, then back into the container. After that it was pretty easy to maneuver it into the new housing.

Easy peasy.

I probably have to give back my man-card for doing this, but the T is a lot less stressed than what would have happened if there was no barrier between the brush and me, and I don't have to spend weeks in agonizing pain : )

I'm not impossible. I'm being improbable.

Haha! You guys crack me up.

I didn't take photos, so I made a quick schematic to illustrate the process:
