Thank you so much.
I have loads of question lol never ending list. That's why I had to buy the book as no one I know including pet stores can really help and cant get hold of breeders in Jburg were my spider is from. That is making things really hard as I want to know what my spider is,I did ask for a Mexican red knee but in the book there are loads of names so not sure what my ones scientific name is. Also want to know if I should put a light in?

Your Mexican redknee will be a Brachypelma smithi. The light is not needed. Normal daylight will be fine and they are more active at night anyway. Unless you are contemplating the light (red/ultra violet) to be for a heat source, that will only be necessary on cold winter nights, to prevent the heat from dropping below 10 degrees.

Thank you so so much lol ok on more my spider is very active no really she is on side of tum then by water the on cave she also eats alot. I fed her 4 small crickets last week with two to 3 days in between fed her sunday n then last night not sure as she is so small when to feed her. She was in hiding for 4 weeks about 2weeks ago.
