Hey Shaun is definitely planning on delving in to the world of old word T's but to be honest haven't even come around to learn anything aside from the basics of these T's so ill be patient for a little longer and try to first get the new world species under my belt and the most important of all get my girlfriend to like them and get use to the idea of arachnids occupying our living room

Watch out for Shaun, he will have you doing the hokey pokey in no time flat,   , glad to see you here buddy, baby steps ..... best way to go with the missus. Get your spidey space sorted first, but make sure it is a space that can grow. If you think you have 5 and should make space for 10 ...... naaaaagh, better make space for 20! :P

Be very patient, that guy will take a week or two or a month of fasting, before molting. They are on their own clock and will not be hurried. Maybe he saw the girl and thinks he needs to grow up fast now. Hehehehe

By the way, misting is not needed. This is an arid grassland Tarantula and all you need is to have a water dish in a corner away from it's burrow.

Thanks Deon everything is in place except for the misting part read they are from an arid region but thought misting lightly might assist the mold typical error mentioned in Stan's rant about trying to make it to complicated , funny you should mention the female hes right next to her i did not think it could have an effect lol it only shows how much i still have to learn. Your help has been invaluable these past weeks ill have to send you a bottle of your favorite to say thanks for all the help and my first T
