I put 6 H.incei slings in a 30x23x23cm Tank. They are 4cm now and all seem happy!

1. will they still attempt to eat each other when they have enough food?
2.how many can be kept togheter?
3.can you keep slings and adults toghether?
4.if the mate while in one tank, will the female still eat the male?
thank you

1. No they won’t. If you don't feed them for a couple weeks then they will start feeding on each other.

2. You can keep 100ds together, as long as you got the space and the food to feed them.

3. On established setups it’s been done. Hendrik posted a thread regarding small slings staying with the adults.

4. It all depends? If the female feels threatened by the male’s presence or feels like a bit of a snack then she will eat the male.
But also it’s been done where males and females and slings stay together in a communal.

The only way to introduce new H incei's into an established communal is to remove all spiders and redo the setup. So there is new territories ,smells and webbing.
Then you add the spiders together they will explore and find their own little spot and make a home.

Would say A 400mm x 280mm x 220mm will be more than good enough!

Also plenty of hide outs and places for them to hide.

I actually added 2 slings to my communal a month or so after the first 5 moved in and they're all still doing fine. I have been really impressed the H.incei's didn't know what exactly to expect when I got them as there is such a little information available but they really rise above tolerating each other. When they first moved in I had 3 slings living in one burrow and two in another.
