I checked my balfouri female this morning and it seems she has made herself a nice web hammock style bed. She must not have been getting a good nights sleep in the hide i provided for her.

Magnificent... (No Pun)

It is not that uncommon. As you undoubtedly know, they are profuse webbers. Mine often "sleeps" in a simular hammock, specialy close to the heat source (light). Oh, just by the way, please send some good smoke signals my way, I have two mated fems, I MUST get this right in order to "flood" the SA market. B)

Most people are like clouds. The sun comes out when they f*ck off...

I mated my freshly moulted (about 2 weeks prior) female on the 4th of June and kept her on dry peat substrate at a temp of around 20c. Over the next couple of months she was fed around 6-8 fairly large crickets in total. A couple of weeks ago i wet a patch of substrate at the front of her tank and did the same again last week. During this time she was constantly out and about her tank at night, often crawling up the sides and if disturbed she would run laps around the tank generally acting a lot scattier than normal. A couple of days ago i upped the temperature to 25c and last night i found she had dug out a load of substrate and had started making a heavy bowl shaped web. I checked on her this morning and she had finished her sac.
Hopefully that info may be of help.
