It has become time that this site gets an identity that will make it unique and stand out.
Many of the members here have the skills to develop/design/create an image that can be used as a logo suited to this site and this forum. I urge the creative to do us proud and create a NEW Tarantulas.co.za logo.

Here are the rules... as always:

A copy of your design must be posted on this thread.
The logo posted here must be no bigger than 400 X 400 pixels, but you must keep the original design handy.
The design can be in colour, black and white or grey scale.
The design must be an original and not an edit of another, nor a copy of another.
This thread must not be cluttered with arguements and/or comments.
The compitition will end on 31 December 2010.
The members of the forum will vote to detiremine the winner.
Voting will commence on 1 January 2011 and will close on 31 January 2011.
The owner of the winning design must sign over all copyrights to Tarantulas.co.za.
The winner of the design compitition will receive a Monocentropus balfouri spiderling, or if my sacs go bad, a cash prize of R1200 that I will sponcer.
As I only initiate this compitition, I can under no circumstances guarantee that Admin will use or incorporate into the website, but we can dream...

Here is my design. What i like about it is that you could change the B.Smithi pic on the top left for any other Tarantula pic on a monthly basis if you want.
