Hi I'm planning to get a few ts from a guy in east london and he's sending it via over night courier. How exactly does it work? He is also sending along a bosc monitor so I want to know if the ts and the bosc monitor be alright by the time it arrives?

Well basically you will end up going to the post office...wait a while while your heart is racing with excitement and fear. Then you will show the details and get (depending on there sizes, Iv only gotten slings) a normal package. You WILL think HUH!?!? then after you take it home and open it, you will have tons of paper and wrapping with padding, you will get your Tarantula vials. A huge sigh of relieve follows when you realise that they are still alive :laugh:

The T's should be alright. The Bosc monitor however? I'm not sure. Is he sending the monitor in the same package as the T's? I would only feel comfortable transporting a Reptile with a Courier who actually delivers to your house, not post office courier. And even then I would prefer to fetch the animals myself. But the T's should be fine as long as they were wrapped properly.

2 different packages.. I am. Thinking about the bosc.. I mean don't wanna spend over 700 n the animals comes pre killed lol do u know of anywhere in jhb that I can get a bosc monitor?

Ok if you are going to Courier the Bosc do it Via air fraight, Post will kill it. not to mention the people will get a bit scared with the thing moving around.
Has the guy done this before or is this hes first time?

There are companines that Fly Reptiles around, You will get it the same day!
And there is hardly any stress on the animal.

I'm not sure of the prices though, but I do know the container has to be approved by the airline who will be transporting the Creature. Also need to check if you got all the correct permits if there is any that are needed to transport reptiles over State lines

But diffently think your have a better chance and better bet tring to get the Bosc localy?
