What will you have available in 2 months time if I may ask?

Hoping with a few guys I would be able to. Better than sitting with stock for ages here. Would rather sell them cheaper overseas in bulk.

They only dropped last week, so a long way to go still, but have pederseni and subfusca LL.

But is it legal?

You can take an Aphonopelma to crickets but you can't make it eat!

My question exactly, can it be done legally?
And I will support it 100% It frustrating sitting with slings, not being able to sell them. The time involved with all the costs of feeding, and then you have to give it away in the end for next to nothing.

Have you done any home work on this?
Would be nice to know what procedures must be followed.
:deal

Just thinking out loud

Why not?
They are exotic tarantulas and you don't need permits for them. The less tarantulas in SA, the happier nat con will be.
Someone did mention the need for a permit to export, but apparently that is no major hassle and they are given out at a small fee (That's if they are even needed).
Only other thing that will need to be checked is whether the country that you are sending the spiders to, needs an import permit, but that will be for the receiver of the spiders to sort out.

I dont think its such a bad idea but since its really difficult to get exotics back in the country (which we all love) now we will be sending them away and before you know it we hardly have any left for the hobby here.

Personally if you sell at the right price people will buy.

If memory serves me correctly, was it not said at the first meeting held at Lora park Zoo. it was said that we can export exotic tarantulas outside of SA.
As long as you do all your permits and export permits and find out if the country support those imports of exotic spiders, then it is legal to export exotic Tarantulas outside of South Africa.

Johan even ask that question to confirm if it can be done.
