  • Leonard created a new topic ' UFO LED grow light 150W' in the forum.

    [File Attachment: Led-grow-light-150w.jpg]

Brand New 150W LED - NASA grow light R1200

    Key Features :
10 bands full spectrum : Blue: 430-440nm, 450-460nm, 460-475nm ; Red: 620-630nm, 650-660nm ; IR 730nm ; White 3500K 6500K . It can provide all the light a plant needs to grow and flower , to help plant grow quicker an better.
    Dimension : 175 X 175 X 60mm/ Includes 3 point plug / lead and connector.

LED grow light affect the plants 's growth both in the speed and size , they enhancing the plant's photosynthesis and save energy because they do not generating wavelengths that plants do not need , thus give out less heat radiation and delivering maximum PPF to the targeted plants. So that is to say LED grow lights are light wavelength specific but not broad wavelength like comes out of a "white" light like HPS, MH, Flourescent, etc.

In this sense, LED grow lights will replace all those currently using HPS (high pressure sodium) and MH (Metal Halide) because they offer better control of light spectrum .

LED grow lights provide the optimal specifications for plants to match the photosynthetic curves of Chlorophyll A and B, the two essential ingredients which drive photosynthesis, shower your plants with the most nutrient rays. The tests show 95% of the light from our LED grow lights can be absorbed by plants, while HPS or MH have only got 10% .

Ray it would seem you are a Jack of all Trades "Master of none"

I am personal friends with a lot of people in the hobby. I stayed clear of this forum as it only became a testosterone filled place to post the first thing that came to mind, stealing breeding reports "with other peoples photos" and people claiming they could perform miracles.

Instead I bought a international membership from "theBTS", to be the first to get information on newly discovered species , breeding reports, field guides etc.

    So back to the topic.
Many people and myself have, been and seen Carien working / studying at Onderstepoort veterinary University, and even helping us with our exotic animals.

To keep it simple and to the point, I invite you to leave this forum for the sake of your sanity and medical fund.
Give Taki his 10 P.metallica slings, write a book which would probably be the best seller and stay clear of all the Expo's B)

Lastly to all the other people who have been waiting for the new forum everyone has heard of ;) send me a email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

  • Leonard replied to the topic 'Selling Breeding Group x2 MF Singapore Blue x1 MM Singapore Blue' in the forum.

@ Carien : Instant Cannibalism of the male Lampropelma violaceopes is a sign of a successful pairing, not to mention a good source of nutrients ;)

I wish Christiaan a.k.a. SLASHER was still on the forum as he had a huge collection of Lampropelma violaceopes.

Personally I will never buy a gravid Lampropelma violaceopes. The last time I bought a gravid L. violaceopes , she molted out JUST because of the stress.

Most people know the market “selling of Tarantulas” is in a all time low, unless you have really rare species.

I have seen people come and go, even some gold diggers who want to make a quick buck, liars and even a few thieves.
For those who would like to know what I paid for a gravid female R1200 ;) and yes she molted out.

If the add was for P.metallica it would have been another story all together ;)
Good luck Damo949 and to the newbies wondering about spending that cash I will say a prayer for you.

Deciding if I want to leave the hobby? The hobby is worth it all, but third parties makes it hard, giving so much and receiving nothing makes one wonder? Trust? Ask yourself can any person f-ing trust you at all? The masks are pretty, just one pity "I've studied kinesics, I know; but do the rest know?" If I leave I will show everyone who is behind each mask. The fuse is lit. Start to pray!

  • Leonard created a new topic Carien Louw and Armand le Roux in the forum.

Carien and Armand "Soon to be fiance" surprised me just now, and brought me a H.lividum sling as a gift "Out of the blue"

I want to say thank you to you both for being such great friends and for Carien who comes out, to give our dogs their injections they need for those who don't know. Your dogs need a 5 in 1 injection once a year, and every 3 years a rabies injection. If you don't have paper work to show your dog has their rabies injection every 3 years and a neighbor gets bitten by an infected dog then your dogs will also get put down. "Heads up"

    Thanks a million guys
