Also, what makes this specific species tops on your list? There are many factors that I can think about:

I'm planning on getting a P Irminia early in the new year. That's been on my list ever since I got into the hobby.

Seeing my H Gigas swim would be super cool.

For me my Ultimate Tarantula would be a Lampropelma violeouceps (Or however it's spelt) since it's quite a rare spider, it has amazing colours and markings and gets quite large.

Poecilotheria metalica (black colour form). Can not give credit to the owner of the pic, can't remember where it came from, sorry.

Mine must be the Psalmopoeus Irminia (Venezuelan Suntiger).
This beuty comes from Venezuela and can grow to a size of 5"to 6",It will often build webbed retreats near the floor,although it is an arborial species.You must make sure to provide something to attach its web to and a water dish(not too deep).Tis species is very very fast and can be defensive.NO URTICATING HAIRS AND THEREFORE MORE LIKELY TO BITE.But other than that a realy must have in every colektion :silly: :woohoo:

Heard that these are possibly just really old P.metallicas that tend to lose colour as they age?

As for me, it has to be Ceratogyrus brachycephalus.
Great spider and that forward facing horn is just awesome.
