I was wondering if anyone can maby help me on some info about the Psalmopoeus pulcher........ I have been looking on the net for care sheets but cant find any??? please help!!

I have a Psalmopoeus pulcher......+-12cm and it looks like a male??? but not to sure.....

please don't use vermiculite it is not good for the T's, it can cause death. :silly:

Why do you say it looks male? There really is no way to tell from a photograph, but at that size I would say female!

As far as husbandry is concerned, I keep all my arboreals on nice deep coco peat (about two fifths- a little less half the tank) and a few strips of cork bark stuck into the peat. I've spent a bit of time monitoring my psalmopeous species (irminia, cambridgei, reduncus and pulcher) and I've noticed that they are actually SEMI arboreal and they like to have burrows on the ground but attached to the vertical object provided.

They are amazing! Definitely my favorite (available) T. Hence my nick
