NEW POKIE was created by That Cossor guy
Looks just like a bloody regalis to me but from Sri Lanka rather than India. Anyway -

Nanayakkara, R.P., P.J. Kirk, S.K. Dayananda, G.A.S.M. Ganehiarachchi, N. Vishvanath & T.G. Tharaka Kusuminda. 2012. A new species of Tiger Spider, Genus Poecilotheria, from Northern Sri Lanka. Journal of the British Tarantula Society 28(1): 6-15.

Very interesting article. Wonder if there was any live specimens collected for control - breeding. To see if there are any other indications if the new Pokie is indeed a new species. Then again it only caught the attention of the research group in 2009, so hopefully we will have more information in the future. Very interesting article indeed. Good to see Andrew Smith is also now on the "TheBTS" comity. Finally :)
