G pulchra breeding conditions was created by Gareth
Does anyone one have any info or know where I can get info on the correct conditions needed for a G pulchra to drop an egg sac? Does she need a cooling period etc etc etc? If so, how long after mating? I have a huge female that was mated with on the 3/9/11, 12/9/11 and then finally on the 24/9/11. Her abdomen has increased in size quite a bit since the last mating and she ate a Hisser the other night.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Keep her at normal room temps when you notice she is huge and the feeding has slowed down alot, heat her tank up to 27-32` and flood only half her tank for a G pulchra... the increase in heat and humidity should do the trick.

spinnerkop is correct, I kept mine on dry substrate for a few months and as soon as I flooded half her tank, she dropped. It took 10 months though.
