On the 08/09/2011 I was surprised by my gorgeous 17cm female T.Stirmi with an egg sack……only problem was she was not mated and I only organised her a bf the day before. What can I say? These things happen, but never did I think this female would do that. Considering all the stories I heard on how full of nonsense they are to get them to drop a sack.
She last ate before winter and had no extra heat. My spider room was kept at an average 20 deg C in the winter.
So I left her to finish the sack so that I could count how many potential babies there could have been….213 eggs…ai
The bf is still coming over for a date. So please hold thumbs. This is a stunning species to have. Just hoping for the best
