I decided to get handy this afternoon and try make cork bark tubes.
I've always seen the "sheets" in stores but i've never seen them in tubes for sale, I put my mind to it and came up with this logical process in a few easy steps.
Please excuse the crappy photo's, i used my cellphone.
Kids, make sure you have adult supervision

What you'll need:
- Cork Bark sheets, the larger the easier.
- A bucket big enough to submerge the cork bark
- Boiling water
- A 500ml coke bottle (or any cylindrical tube for that matter)
- Something very heavy
- Elastic bands
Step one:
Get yourself some cork bark sheets:

Step three:
Fill the bucket with BOILING water until the cork is completely submerged:

Step four:
You'll notice that the cork floats (DURR!), place your heavy "thing" on top of the sheet.

Step five:
Wait 10 - 15 minutes. Let the cork absorb as much water as possible, this will make it pliable.
Step six:
remove the sheet, be careful, it is VERY hot.
Place it on a flat surface and place a 500ml bottle on top and begin rolling the sheet very slowly into a tube around the bottle and hole it on with elastic bands.
I stole my girlfriends hair elastics

Step seven:
Leave it to dry and harden.
You can do this quickly by using a blow drier.
Bob should be your aunty:
