Got myself an instant hisser colony yesterday, the lady is selling mixed sized hissing cockroaches at R100 per 100 minumum order, females the same price (actually outnumber the males). :woohoo:

Quick update on the Hisser colony.
Set them up using Forum information (thanks guys!) and in front of the panel heater. Check them out this morning and the place is crawling with newborn nymphs. Must have been more than one pregnant female just ready to drop the clutch!

I went from 12 hissers to over 200 in just under 11 months.

@T-Rad. I had got the impression that she would post, wonder why not this time? Seriously though, the roaches are such good quality/value for money its worth driving to pick-up, unless you stay a gazillion miles away!

Haha my car won't get me that far. Would love some hissers, specially since they are such a good price.
