I have a B.lateralis (Turkistan) colony and it has grown rapidly since I started it. I would like to start getting rid of some to keep numbers down as feeding them to spiders on a regular basis hasn't managed to keep their numbers from growing exponentially. :spider: I have given away a few batches before and traded some roaches for slings but still they manage to keep going.

How much per roach should I charge, I dont want to charge alot. I asked for 5c a roach but got offered 20c for any size, I am clueless as to what i should be charging... any help?

Also how should I go about counting? I Thought about collecting a bunch of adults and finding out the combined weight and dividing it by the numbers. Doing it a few times with higher numbers to get an average and then I can roughly work out how much about 500 roaches should weigh? Don't have the time or patience to count them one by one hahaha

Once apon a time Mammon sold off he's roaches, he charged R30 rand for so many grams, which was a good couple of roaches.
But you can always do 3 hand fulls into a container and sell that for R30 or a bit more, that would be plus/minus 500 roaches, A big Plus/Minus, sell as is, like a lucky packet! :happy: :angel:

The best way is to weigh then if you don't wont to count them.
