I know this is almost 5 or 6 months late but anyways.
I got my first Tarantula last year in July for my Birthday. I am 16 and am Home Schooled but was in Normal School back in Pretoria. I am English speaking and we have lived in Smithfield for about 5 years now and before that we lived in Pretoria.
My mom owns an Antique Store here in town and I occasionally work in it to earn some cash.
I was never allowed any exotic pets when we lived in Pretoria, most likely to due to lack of Responsibility. Since I have live here I have become more responsible. My parents finally relented when I bought my first T at Pretty Gardens in Bloem.
I have a newfound love of all Invertebrates and Reptiles.
I have 8 Tarantulas, 1 Emperor Scorpion, 3 Extatosoma Tiaratum Nymphs, an assortment of Cockroaches, 2 Corn Snakes a Bearded Dragon, Two Cockatiels, 7 Dogs and 11 Cats. A load of animals I know but most of them are owned by my Mom and Brother. So sorry for an extremely late Intro.

Ha ha I know hey. If we lived in a big city we would most likely have the neighbours on our backs with all the Cats and Dogs. I however can't stand having all our dogs barking at once. Esspecially the Saint Bernard.
