Hi, I'm Poxicator
I've had that tag since the days of playing arcade video games when you could only have 3 characters saved, yes I'm that old, so POX was my tag. And then along came the huge amount of 8 characters to a tag, so my name was extended, and I played lots more video games, becoming the clan leader of one of the biggest UT (FPS) mods - TacticalOps. We went on to play CoD and BF2 and became the biggest European clan to play WoW. At that point I needed something to distract my attention so I sought out a tarantula and now I don't play video games but my loft is full of 8-legged creatures
I am the Global Moderator of RFUK, originallly just the invert section
Designer & Typesetter British Tarantula Society and I've just produced the first new design journal vol 28 (1)
Committee member & Webdeveloper for Invicta Arachnids Club based in Kent, UK, although I come from the neighbouring county of Essex.
I'm also one of the Organisers of the South East Arachnid Show, an annual event in its third year
I singer in a band called Undercover, doing indie, rock, punk, ska, soul, funk and party
And, Ive restarted doing dj slots as skaNmash covering reggae, roots, ska, dancehall, dub, mash-ups and remixes.
I have 4 corn snakes, 2 water dragons, 2 crested geckos and hundreds of tarantula (it fluctuates from 200-500 and then some!)
I found the site when searching for information on Poecilotheria, my main genus although I do have a few Avics and my favourite terrestrials A. geniculata and C. cyaneopubescens.
