Hey all

On monday I acquired a Feather Leg Baboon/Stromatopelma Calceatum B)
The first one I bought looked like a Male so I exchanged it for one which looked more female.
Now I need a bit of info on them:
What is their total size?
At what size do they generally mature?
Do males get Tibial Hooks when mature?
Would a Individual at about 12-13 Cm legspan be mature?
They are classified as Arboreal but mine has a large burrow?
Are Males in High Demand?

I ask these questions as I paid quite a bit for this T and if it turns out male I will be devastated. However at this petshop there were three, the first one I chose was very dull and looked exactly like the Adult Male in The Tarantulas Keepers Guide while the other two looked roughly the same except they have a lot more bristles and have a sort of Orange Highlight to the bristles.
I exchanged the Dull one for one of these more colourful ones. It is definetly not and OBT, that I know for sure. Any help would be appreciated.
Oh I got it from Spitskop Reptiles in Pretty Gardens in Bloemfontein.

I can't help you with any of the questions due to my lack of experience with these, but why didn't you ask around on the forum if you were looking for calceatums? I'm sure you would've gotten one at a better price here.

I wasn't looking for any actually, I just saw them there and thought, screw it, I need more Tarantulas so I'm going to buy it.

www.care-sheet.com/index/Stromatopelma_calceatum : Doesnt have any info

www.pbase.com/roland_p/image/62678291 Doesnt quite provide me with enough info

www.tarantula.all-infos.eu/e_v_s_calceatum.htm Is the same info as the one above.

Tried Google but I can't find any proper information.
To bad Ceratogyrus is banned, maybe he could help a bit.
I'll try and get a Pic so you guys can tell me what you think.
