"JO!" What a lekker day today was. Went to the PTA air show with my son and our first true Highveld thunder storm of the season with hail nogal.

Nice! There was a lot of coming and going of crazy aeronauts over our house today. One even did a spiral, just for the fun of it!

Airshow? :blink: I thought we were being invaded! :huh: Maybe I should get out more... :S

Pitty about the 14 vleisbome that hit hit the deck. Lucky my son an I took the great trek home at the time.
( we missed the action) We parked 2km away and was walking when 14 guys jumped out of a transport plane and hit the deck. A bunch went off to 1 mill hospital. S#|t happens I guess.

Shame, didn't know...

Such a petty I missed the show, only found out about it on Friday afternoon and had made plans for Saturday.

I can't believe with so many people that attended the show, there is not any more information regarding the jumping mishap or photos and things like that!

Just that South African National Defence Force will be doing an inquest to what went wrong!


I amazed that only 4 members got serous injured and the 10 others went home later that day!
Usually when you fall from a plan you die, when you hit the deck.

Wore they doing a low level jump??
