I love my T's. But my GF doesn't feel the same.

Any suggestions as to what T's i should get her( /Myself ) to help her fall inlove with t's?

something dosile? Maybe nice coulors? I dont know? thought about avic avic but when she saw a pic she wasn't very impresssed...

I will most probably be looking after it. but she has started to show some intrest. want to give her a boost. help her fall inlove.

On a serious note why not a G. pulchripes? They are like teddy bears a really good beginners spider.

If she doesn't care to handle it get a Avicularia versicolor or Lampropelma violaceopes or some pokies

All these have nice colors, but may not be the best spiders to handle

If you buy her a versi juvie, then it should be fine for handling (and she will love the blue colour) - just stay away from the big momma versi's, they bite :laugh:

I agree - G.pulchripes are awesome for beginners. You can also try a B.smithi, but they grow sooooo slow .....

Colour wise you cannot go wrong with C.cyaneopubescens (GBB) - they are pretty no matter their age.

Had the same thing with my fiancee.

Got her a B.emilia sling. I do all the work but I make her sit in on feedings, update her on activities etc and share all the little bits of info I get all the time. Just share my excitement basically. It doesn't take much for these little beasties to grab ones attention.

She now has 6 T's and loving them. She even insists on being involved in picking any new species though she still takes a few steps back as soon as I open the tank

FYI her personal favourite in the looks department so far is A.versi or T.cupreus

I caught flack the other day when my wife saw the file spiderpurchases.xlsx So I gave her all my avics and a GBB. Now we're ok again :shrug:
