Hi guys, I have a Poecilotheria fasciata that is about 7cm DLS. From recent topics regarding sexing from abdomen colouring I'm thinking mine is male. Just looking for confirmation. I have attached a ventral pic too, what would you look for on it to determine sex. I know the exuvium is the only proper sexing method however this bugger molts and then webs the exuvium to the inside of his burrow

From the little I have learnt about Pokies and the colour differences between males and females, I would say you are correct in thinking male

Would have been nice to see its carapace markings too, but from that it looks male.
For a more accurate answer wait for another moult or 2 and post another dorsal pic of its carapace and abdomen.
