So It was time to get my 10cm+ p. fasciata into its new home :swaet:. So i take it off to the bathroom put it in the tub, Lift the lid and started shaking! Don't laugh! this guy gets to me!!
All my other T's are fairly easy to handle, Even my p. irminia is really easy against this one. I tried edging it into the plastic container by gently touching its back legs with a chopstick, expecting it to move forward… instead it turns around and shows me its fangs!
Tried the second approach – gently blowing on it – that turned out with the T Vibrating and me Vibrating a bit more…
I didn’t give up… finally coaxed it in with a chopstick from each side and then almost craped myself when I had to close the lid.
Just thought id share my experience. It’s amazing how scary and beautiful these spiders are at the same time! Truly amazing spiders. Have any of you guys ever seen your pokies Vibrating – kind of like a daddy long leg does Just alot more scary - ?
Really felt like a ninja when i saw settle into its new home kungfu
