Hi everyone.

I hope there's someone that can help me with some technical info and pics to prove my point to a ungrateful customer.

I sold a P. Regalis - Indian Ornamental to someone. 5cm in size.

I told the guy, here in Witbank with the cold temps, he should get the temps up in that cage as quick as possible when he gets home. In the meantime he starts posting that same night that his T doesn't want to eat or move around much. After 2 days, me and some friends start to ask him if he did get the temp right etc. His answer : No, because he was busy the whole time. Then he starts to take me on on that same site that his T doesn't want to move alot, and doesn't want to eat.

...Oh and some more info : "He wanted to buy a T, that is Aggro and he wants to get bitten..." Direct quote from him.

After 2 days again he posts that his T is eating, and after asking him what he did, he said he got the temps right.

Now during the weekend he started posting the following :

1. His T isn't aggro at all, because he handles it like a daddy long leg.
2. His T doesn't look like some T's in photos, (which by the way are photos of mature T's and female T's)
3. His T looks pale in colour, white and grey.
4. and that I sold a lazy non-aggro T to him.

Now, seen how I'm not an expert on them, I need some technical info to counter his comments. I told him the following :

1. A T that is cold will be less responsive and WONT eat.

2. A T that is cold would not be as aggressive as one in the IDEAL setting.

3. One ornamental can be different in character with the next ornamental.

4. That a T a few weeks old, will look different to a T that is mature.

5. Males and female will look different.

6. Females have more colour than males.

7. And photos taken will differ, depending on the lighting where the photo is taken.

What can I tell him now?

Tell him to piss off and buy an Alligator...

Tell him he is a f###ken idiot, and then maybe offer him 50% back in exchange for the T. Then you can sell it again at the normal price.

Be tactful. Save the T! Buy it back!

To be honest i dont think i would of sold the guy the T in the first place if he told me he wanted it to bite him...

I agree with you. I should have thought of it, but now he's such an idiot about it.
