Hi all, Can I re-home my 3" Gbb into my 12" x 12" x 12" exo terra terrarium yet or is he still to small? I read somewhere the T tank has to be no bigger than 3 to 4 times the size of my T

You can re home ANY sling to ANY size enclosure. What you read somewhere is misinterpreted. The rule of thumb is that the enclosure should not be SMALLER than about three times the leg span of your spiders, but there is no limit to how BIG it should be. The theory that slings will not find food in a large enclosure is pure and unadulterated crap. Have people that think up such idiocy ever seen the magnitude of the rain forests or savanna? They way some people carry on, one would believe a nappy, bottle and bib is a must.

In the case of C cyaneopubescens, the sling will make a very visible nest somewhere in the enclosure. When you feed, introduce the prey item into the webbing, with some gusto if you can. The prey will probably get stuck in the webbing, the vibrations of its struggles will attract your spider in seconds. If you are concerned that they prey will wonder off into the blue yonder, just introduce three or four more and leave them be. They will find each other, there is no doubt. In a nice big enclosure, you could saddle your horse and remove whatever prey is left over after a few days.

Thanks Scarab
I wasn't to bothered about him finding the food as he always watching me as soon as I undo the tank and always pounces on the cricket they stand no chance  I just didn't want to stress out my T in any way.

Looks like my Gbb will be on the move later then :)

I beleave that, what Scarab has said, in the wild the smaller slings would walk by a puddle of water, it would seem like a lake to him, the spider survives in the wild where they naturally come from, he's got no choice but to carry on being a spider and can't be stressed out.
So in a larger enclosure he will be fine, he does not have to worry about other animals snacking on him, this is what makes him one lucky spider.

Post some pictures, once he has moved in!

Decided to just add to this topic instead of creating a new one!

I rehomed one of my T's this weekend (G pulchripes). Rehoming went well, except when it slid down the outside of its old enclosure and almost went up the leg of my jeans... After about an hour in itss new home, it started burrowing and closing up the hide with peat (no webbing). We haven't seen it since (3 days later). Is this normal, or does is mean that he doesn't like the new enclosure?

I suspect I'm just being paranoid - it's only the second T I've rehomed, and the other one was very obviously happy from the start - but thought I'd ask anyway.
