Did a quick search and couldn't find a similiar topic, so here goes:

What is your least favourite Tarantula species/genera (to keep or breed) and why?

I don't care much for the Brachypelma sp. - The urticating hairs is a big turn off for me!

Any new world tarantula with U-hairs, but especially Theraphosa and Pampho's (These 2 have affected me the worst in the past)

Only jokes, dont have a least favourite tarantula, they all very special in there
own little way. like I say, curly hair is very common, but no spider in the world have
long curly hair like they have. That make them unique. :laugh:

I'm not a big fan of the lasiodora's.
I got turned off after hearing about the boykies "pink sal-mon" for the 80th time.

Personaly Nhandu chromatus.
I've had 2, still got one and they are not all that cool.
No hunting after prey, to me not all that beatiful and WAY too scittish to me.

@Dave: good you did'nt say curlies, coz they are one of the better looking T's arround just an over population caused the low prices we see.

Ripper I've heard someone else say that chromatus aren't pretty, personally I don't understand, I think the colouring is amazing, they don't go after prey though, you have to give them some time, but personally I think it's an underrated spider.

As for my least favourite, was trying to think of one, but I really cant. The one that's irritating me the most right now is my minax, that has now dug a tunnel so deep I cant even see one of her legs.
