I have had Jessi2, for almost a month now in which I have handled her twice already the first time to place her into her new enclosure when I bought her home and the second time I just used a ear bud and lightly pushed her in the direction of my hand which she/he went to eagerly.

Jessi2 was so relaxed as I took my time taking pics of her (as seen above) she didn't even want to go back into her enclosure.

But about a week ago I though maybe I should handle her again for a bit and get some more pics of her, but oh hell no, she first kicked some hairs then presumed the threat pose, and that totally took me by surprise as I don't meddle with her every day just check up on her through the glass as I do with my other two T's, I must also add that she is now just over 3cm, so I haven't tried again, as Jessi2 looks a bit agitated, so for now I will wait until she is much bigger and calm again before I try and handle again.

She could be in pre-molt. Legs, my adult curly female usually doesn't seem to mind being handled, but when she is in pre-molt she takes a threat pose and does not want me in her enclosure. Kinda like my wife over *that* time of the month :D

I would completely avoid handling Ts at all times. It's not really necessary and the Ts probably get pretty stressed out.

Thanks guys, unfortunately I think Panama and Curt's advice I won't adhere to due to the fact that my pokie I won't ever be able to handle and I know that I can handle my Curly and Rose I will all but be eager to handle then, but not every day just once every three months or so. :P

Well that's the problem right there, T's can never get 'tame' but they most certainly get 'accustomed' to be handled. If you don't handle your T for a long time, it needs very gentle approaching till it gets 'used' to you approaching it again after the layoff....
Lt me know if that works for you ;)
