I've always been wondering what are the differences between this 2 species ,I know that l.nigerimum is smaller then sp borneo black apart from this are there any other differences ?
And from about what size are they Sexually dimorphic ?
Thanks

Haha, you're interested because you're about to win one! (Well done and congratulations)

Sexual dimorphism implies a visual (physical) difference between a male and a female of the same species. Usually if a species does show dimorphism it will be roughly from the maturing molt (besides for Pamphobeatus spp., Poecilotheria spp., Phormictopus spp. And I'm sure I've left out others).

From what I've seen, the Borneo Black is more jet black and the niggerium is duller.

I'm sure Dirk can confirm this tho, he has mature specimens of both these species.

Well done again!

I meant at what size will both the sp borneo and nigerimim show sexual dimorphism ,
Like with l.violaceopes ,you can see it from about 6cm ,isit the same with them ?

Lol I am definitely not the authority on this genus, but I have made a few observations through the past 2-3 years of keeping these species.

Lampropelma nigerrimum
Observations:
- 2nd instar nigerrimum and borneo black looks pretty much the same.
- Sexual dismorphism is present from a young age I would say at 3-4cm you can visually start to see the differences between males and females. Males go brown, a light cinnamon brown, females go black with purple hues.
- Females are black from a young age already, color will fade to n dull black to grey closer to a molt. nigerrimum and Borneo black females both are pitch black as adults.
- Females reach sexual maturity around 10-12cm.
- Males reach sexual maturity very fast, within a year. Males are relatively small 9-12cm. from the ones I've seen
- Females reach a maximum size of 14-16cm (From what I've read, unfortunately my female died beginning of the year at 14cm so not sure how big she would have maxed out at)
- Sexual cannibalism, My female at my male after a week of living together, she literally ripped him apart.
- Aggression - I have not seen much aggression from the female I had the odd threat pose here and there. Juvies love giving threat poses, you'll just walk past and they go into threat pose mode. The MM was one unhappy camper, I literally had to sweep him across the glass to move him, he would go lie on his back with fangs out, he would be in a permanent threat pose when I would come close.
- Mature Males will not run if disturbed they will stand and fight.

Lampropelma sp Borneo Black
Observations:
- 2nd instar nigerrimum and borneo black looks pretty much the same.
- Sexual dismorphism is not present from a young age. I have not raised these from sling to adult, I was lucky enough to find 2 females at 12cm already, I currently have juvies at about 5cm, no sexual dismorphism present as with nigerrimum. Not sure if this will start to become more apparant as the their sizes increase. I have my suspicion that they might be the same as L. violaceopes and C. schioedtei. That about after 6cm males will go lighter and females go darker and more colorful.
- Sub-adult females are almost a grey color and not really black the black only really starts showing once they get to 14+cm
- Females reach sexual maturity around 12-14cm.
- Males reach sexual maturity very fast, within a year. Males are relatively small 9-14cm. from the ones I've seen
- Females reach a maximum size of 18-20cm (From what I've read, my female is currently sitting at 16cm so we will see  )
- Sexual cannibalism, My pair co-habitated for longer than a month, he died in her enclosure from old age.
- Aggression - I have not seen much aggression from my female or my juvies. Nothing like I get from my nigerrimum juvies. The MM also was not to bad with the occasional threat pose every now and again.
- Mature Males will not run if disturbed they will stand and fight.

That's about it that I can think of for now, if you have more specific questions, shoot and I will see if I can answer or find an answer. welcome
