my sister in law wants to buy my brother a Valentine's day present. What is the easiest pokie to get him? I do not want to spend more than R 500 for now.

There should be fasciata available from a few users soon.
I would guess they would be around R50 each at current prices, so why not get him a few in a communal?
The other reasonably priced pokies that could be available is regalis, striata and ornata.
All are very similar in temperament and husbandry needs.

I know a few okipenokies that visit communal's. Don't tell the Nun mum... I hear that the 14th Feb is a particularly popular day...

Basically any pokie at a good price is a good buy. I have a few and they all behave the same - they look similar and grow fast however they are shy in light. At R500 you can buy a few or one or two depending on the size and demand. As a present I'd go for an arboreal (ground dweller) as they tend to be better display T,s like a B. Smithy or L. Parabanya.

My 2c...
