I was Thinking?? and got a Question from this thought!!
We have to wait for our males to mature cause they got to make a sperm web to put boxing gloves on (load there pedi pulps)to be able to breed with a Female
But is this the same with our Females ??
Do we have to wait till they are mature or are they mature from the bigining, does size matter in a Female Tarantula's .
If you now the sex of the Spider surely there is nothing stopping you.(unless Im behind times here and that what the norm is with Breeding )
I now after mating a female the last thing you need to happen is a shed cause that defeats the hole object of mating your Tarantula.
So when a Tarantula is small they shed fairly often then they get to a stage when there sheding becomes very long periods of time before they shed .
As we dont really now exactly when our Female spiders are going to shed we as A Breeder take a risk every time when Breeding our Females, is this maybe an unwritten rule in our Hobby of keeping Tarantulas ?.Or Im I the one who is behind or learning some thing new and exciting here..
I found a babboon spider that had 40 babies and she was maybe about 9-10cm in size when I found her.. So my toughts are in the wild A Mature Male wonders around until he stumble apon a Female so they do the dance of love and he iether gets eaten or goes on hes marry way looking for another dance partner .
So if you are 100 percent sure!, you got A female and a male is ready and sexualy Mature ..
1.At what size is it recomended to Breed your Female spider ? close to there full grown size that a species grows to that you would like to breed?
2.Does it or can it cause harm to your Female spider's if she is alot smaller/younger ?
3.Does the size of the Mature Male have any thing to do with the whole Breeding ?
3.Will the clutch of eggs helded from a smaller/younger female spider, be smaller in size and the amount of eggs be less compared to a full grown Female spiders held that she gives in the egg sack?
