So, my guess is that it will produce an eggsac sometime during your spring. What season is it where you are now?
If she was in breeding condition when she was mated, and already had a load of eggs ready, she could drop an eggsac any day now. If she wasn't in season, she'll have to take time to make a bunch of eggs before she can lay them, so she might be a month or 2 late.
If she never came into breeding condition this year, or if the male was a dud (this happens), she won't produce an eggsac.
Another way of approaching the question is to ask, "When does she ordinarily molt?" Most bred female tarantulas produce an eggsac about the same time of the year that they would otherwise molt. Molting is then usually postponed several months until the babies emerge from the eggsac and begin to disperse from the mother's burrow. When did she molt last year? Has she molted yet this year? When do you expect her to molt again?
Ambient temperature is almost a non-issue. Because tarantulas are poikilotherms (cold blooded), they are little effected by temperature except in the extremes.
I KNOW THAT THIS IS CONTRARY TO EVERYTHING THAT YOU'VE BEEN TOLD, but it's true. Temperature is almost irrelevant unless she was kept in a refrigerator or in a steam bath. The eggs may take a few days longer or less to be produced, but her reproductive behavior is entrained to the seasons, not to a thermometer. Only people (and only the female sex at that) bother checking temperature to decide when to breed! :ohmy:
So is humidity for the most part a bogus issue. Inside her body where the eggs are being produced the humidity is 100%+. They're bathed in a surplus of a water based fluid. Her internal organs and the developing eggs could care less about humidity outside. Humidity might play a role in determining the precise time that she produces the eggsac in that a sudden rise in humidity could prompt her to start the behavioral process of building an eggsac and spewing out the eggs. But, that's a short term thing.
"Do I do it today or tomorrow? Well look at that! The humidity just jumped. It must be a rain shower, I'll drop the eggs today!"
Non-rain forest tarantulas tend to synchronize egg laying with the rainy season because within a few weeks of a rain or the beginning of the wet season there will be bugs everywhere for the babies to eat.
