This brings back memories. Bad memories. My S. calceatum moulted upright as well and the abdomen exoskeleton came off like that first then the carapace piece. All seemed to be going well then about 4 or 5 legs snapped and the carapace ruptured.

Inbreeding I tells you.

Now, the way yours had started looks vastly different to mine so I think your's should be fine.

Any new development here? Being new at this, makes me want to look at as many examples of molt etc as possible. Please let us know what has/ is happening to this T.

Just a note bald spots DO NOT MEAN PREMOLT the T does somewhat look like in premolt.HOPE HE PULLS THROUGH
