I bought this T and just want to confirm specie and apparently it is a mature male ????? If he is on my hand he is roughly the size of my hand not very large.

Thanks Curt I got told it is a Sericopelma Rubronitens when I bought him is this possible ?

I'm not so sure I would rule out rubroritens as a possibility. Judging the complete blackness I think it could very well be rubroritens. B. vagans usually have lighter "hair" surrounding the carapace.

Maybe post a few more dorsal pics?

Since you said that, It could be S.Rubronitens definitely, its carapace is actually much darker and has no lighter hairs surrounding it si it is most likely what you bought it as I should not have jumped to a conclusion so quickly :igiveup:

If you planning on mating with it rather dont lol as it could be a Sericopelma Rubronitens or a B.Vagans very hard to tell the difference.... :igiveup:
