Hello Everyone!

My name's Gianluca, although most of my friends call me Zam. I have two real passions in my life: Music and Tarantulas!

A friend of mine, Clint (A member on the forum) convinced me to get my very first T; a Brachypelma albopilosa (Curly Hair) and I have never looked back!
Six months later and a whole lot of complaints from my GF (a terrible arachnophobic), I am proud to say the bug truly has bitten me.

What amazed me initially about these beautiful creatures is how incredibly intelligent they are, with many facets to their nature and individual personalities. They continue to amaze and inspire me, always suprising me through their nature.

as well as recently aquiring my first two abboreals:

0.0.1 Psalmopoeus irminia (Venezuelan Sun Tiger) - My favourite looking T and one species I have always wanted and
0.0.1 Avicularia avicularia (Pinktoe)

as well as a Pandinus imperator (Emeperor Scorpion)

I have been a regular visitor to the forum even before purchasing my B. albopilosa and learnt everything i could from here, so I am truly indebted to all of you for your constant help, experience and expertise.

A little bit more about me: I play guitar/sing/compose for a number of local JHB bands including The Carniwhores, The Slashdogs and Jet Black Camaro. My choice instrument is a Fender telecaster or a Gretsch.
