I am glad to be back on the website (Was previously known as "Shaka"for those who remember..)
I'm back in the city after working in the kalahari. Saw lot of interesting creatures there while following my group of lions and wild dogs. Now I'm back in pretoria and will jump into the tarantula hobby again! Only spider I have at the moment is a female salmon pink birdeater that I got as a gift 2 years ago. Looking forward to chat on the forum and get involved again.

Were you doing a documentary on the lions and wild dogs?

Yes and I recorded their hunts and movements as part of a predator management plan. Got some nice footage of 8 wild dog pups coming out of their den for the first time. Experiencing it was awesome
