This evening on my way to work to do my show, this guy with his kid in the car traveling in the opposite direction to me, decided tu do a u-turn during a green robot, nearly taking my car out in the process...

when I got to the next robot, I rolled down my window to ask him if he didn't see that the light was green and this guy with his kid in the back, got out his car and pulled a gun on me...

Fortunately another car came and he jumped back in his car and sped off...

all this in melville close to the SABC where I work.

How crazy is this world, where going to work is a health risk and we are "greatful" for not getting shot when we are at robots...

sometimes I think I am in a wheelchair because if I could walk, I would get out my car and drop-kick idiot drivers at robots :)

Hi Scorpion
Sorry to hear about the incident, did you have time or managed to get the number plate of the car? This should be reported as a person like that should not have a firearm, and to point a firearm in the presence of a child is even worse!
Glad you survived!, I am an ex cop, and army and have found myself quite a bit at the wrong side of a firearm, have shot and have been shot at, never a pleasant experience!
My advice is to seek counseling, this is important as you could suffer from delayed shock!
take care!

Having a gun pulled on you for no life threatening reason
is a serious crimenal offence. I hope that you working @ the SABC kept a clear head and toke down his plates

Having your resources you should try and expose this guy and have him prosecuted. Next time someone else might not be that lucky as you were... all things considered.

I have been High-jacked once and being on the sharp side of a weapon held by a Crazy dude is very unnerving

And as Milty pointed out consider some
counseling. You might keep over some underlying
problems that will eat you up in te long run.

I'm just glad you didn't make any of the mistakes
I did and that you are still fine.
