How about having some thing that extends from the timer into the container this way the power source stays out side and the egg sack dish stays inside.

The idea seems to work very well. There are two tubs of water inside the container, with ventilation holes, humidity doesn't drop below 80 and doesn't go above 90, and there's no condensation. Quite impressed with how well it worked.
