Hey guys I'm new here but I already know this topic of import/export has been beaten to death with clubs of various sizes! I ask that you indulge me for a moment. I hesitate to say where I'm living for fear of being crucified for even suggesting what I'm about to.
But here goes: I'm living in China! Let me just say that "Everything you hear about China is true," and that is actually a saying in China because the country is so big that whatever you say about it is probably true somewhere. Now I know they are nutoriously "evil" in all things animal related, but keep in mind that there are 1 Billion + people in the country! I've lived here for 4 going on five years and have finally realised that there are some pretty damned decent daelers of any kind of animal here buried between the foaming scum of guys who catch bucketloads of animals and transport them in said buckets. Now I've been researching importing my T's (and wanted to enlarge my collection) but then found the helpfull post on here that dissuaded me. Now to the nitty gritty:

I'm willing to act as a contact this side for anyone who currently has a permit, I've found two very reliable and reasonable shops here with an awesome array of T's. Now obviously I do not know what the actual current permit owners are allowed or within wich boundaries they have to operate. My interest has now changed however, I'd just like the hobby to be strong when I return, So I want to help introduce new bloodlines in any legal way I can. feel free to ask any question, launch any verbal insults, or spit on your computerscreen in protest....

Are you looking to import into China or into South Africa? The former is possible, the latter, no chance.

I know importing into SA is impossible, so I've given up on that, I'm looking to link up with the guys that currently have a permit, to hook them up with quality T's from here to help get some new blood into SA T's. I know this is hard to believe but I'm not doing this for me, I'm an Enthusiast and want to help the hobby stay strong. You know wanna be the middle man that doesn't take a cut!

Oh and just got a Blondi for my birthday 5 minutes ago! :rock

No one in SA currently has a permit to import spiders, so you are wasting your time if you want to do it legally. There is a possibility that there may be permits at a later stage, but probably only next year the earliest, if ever.

There are one or two guys who import (albeit illegally) so don't be surprised if they contact you. Are you originally from South Africa?
