wow had some fun today playing with my pop's camera here's a few photo's hope you like them!

these are P. Irminia male(brown grey) on the left and female(black and orange) on the right

i'll share them pairing too... but i absolutely loved this photo!

absolutely awesome spiders i'll recommend them to anyone looking to get some arboreal.

they can be quick and aggressive but in the right enclosure they make some awesome elaborate tunnel systems.

the female is mine and the male pictured here is snarfs. thanks bud!

in the first pic is a failed attempt but a dead sexy pic in my opinion...


in the second pic a fantastic success on the part of snarfs geriatric male!
kris missed the insert cos we were yelling at him get a better angle! :laugh:





update:

such a pity this morning i checked in on her and found that shes shed out... such a pity! but gonna give her a few days and then take some pics she's absolutely beautiful now!!!! :woohoo:

my GBB girl (Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens) dreadfully long name for a beautiful spider!

shes about to molt so if any of you have a male..... :whistle:

semi desert so a dry tank with a small deep water bowl is great.
they web profusely which looks amazing so id suggest a slightly bigger tank then necessary and a nice structure in the center, that way they make these elaborate webs all around.

this is not such a great photo because we were just figuring out hoe the camera worked....

b. vagans mating.

the balding male belongs to kris... if you look closely on his abdomen you will spot puncture wounds that was the female about 8 min before... he surprised her and she rolled him!
im quite impressed with the boy though he was up for the challenge even after having 2cm fangs inside him! got a few good inserts!

in the lovers tiff he also tagged her in the joint between the carapace and the second leg... it seems to have sealed up properly though.




update:

the male passed soon after... but i recon he had a good run

this is what i discovered this morning! theres no sac...yet! but im pretty stoked either way!




and theres the sac full o little vagans!

a. versicolour

we couldn't quite get the angles right with her but shes just the cutest don't you think.

avics are great everyone should have at least seven they docile they beautiful they web and they shoot poop (i hear)

some people have made them out to be more hassel then they worth but i really disagree there are a few avic slings out at affordable prices id suggest anyone who hasnt got one already, to add one to their collection and enjoy these beautiful gentle fuzzy spiders!
