The video was incredible - how do you get the file small enough to upload. I am having a hard time trying to upload the footage of my vagans mating in HD. I use final cut pro on apple mac to edit my material.

Man your videos are awesome. Keep it coming please, I enjoy watching them. I agree with the others, send it in somewhere, maybe even make a few bucks to pay for more Ts or more camera equipment.

Hi Leechie,

Here's the details of the video:

The original was shot in Full HD (1920 x 1080). I did the editing in Vegas Movie Studio HD. In Vegas the project was set as 1280x720.

I rendered the video as an 1280x720 MP4 clip at 25fps using an average variable bitrate of about 2 megabit for the video. The audio was rendered at 128 kilobit.

The final rendered MP4 file was about 50MB.

I uploaded it to Youtube and they did the rest. At the lower resolutions I can see a definite reduction in quality between the MP4 that I uploaded and the video that plays on Youtube. I guess they have to cut a few corners in order to get the video to play well over the internet.

Like Dmitri said - youtube makes it very easy to get your videos out there....
