I made this clay ornament/hide for my B.albopilosum as a first experiment
and I just had to post a pic!
I plan on doing lots of other ones this week.
The next step will be glazing, painting/decorating and then I'll add a sealer to
avoid any possible toxins from harming the t's.
This will happen as soon as I decide on the kind of spray/primer/paints to use
on the surface.
I bake the clay in an ordinary oven at a low temp to
speed it up slightly..
I made another two hides: the mushroom hide is on the small side.
It has 2 openings and will work nicely for a sub 8cm T.
I painted it with 2 metallic waterproof colours.
Decorated the skull - I wanted to do a brown and bronze look to match the curlys
colours, but got tempted to go green:
The latest one hasnt been painted - in progress..
I'm busy modelling something for a arboreal set-up which has no entrance, but ill keep that a surprise for tommorrow!
