Today I realized that my Giant White Knee tarantula escaped from the enclosure. It's still very young, it molted once since now. Does anybody has any ideas how to find it? I lost it in my room and I search almost every part of the room. All the corners, all the drawers. Can't find anything and I need help!!!! :ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy:

are you sure it has gotten out(did you see it escape or was the lid open?)? if not check the tub, put the peat into a bigger tub so u can spread it but be gentle just incase the lil guy is in there...I thought my one giant white knee sling had also somehow gotten through the holes in the lid but then I checked the peat

Ive had an escapee where I actually saw the sling run out and udner my desk, took me an hour and a bit of help tearing down my room to find it...

Agreed. Check the substrate, but you have to be gentle.

I did spread it but I did not find anything. The lid did not close properly and I only realized it when the spider had gotten out. Now it's probably somewhere in my room and I hope it doesn't go out of the room because we have 2 small children in the house. I read somewhere that I can try and put a something shallow with water in the middle of the room, close the lights and let it try sneak out.
