M.balfouri pethole

Chilobrachys is a good display T , they don't really burrow(they will if you give deep substrate) but rather shift the substrate around to their liking and cover it up heavily in webs

Both of those Chilo's are great, fimbriatus is more expensive but is definetly a great looking T, it's number 1 currently on my "to get" list. Huahini is cheaper but a little more dull but still great looking. I would rather stay away from M. balfouri and the pokies for now and rather get something a little more interesting than a Pethole.

I am starting to lean toward C. Huahini. Just because of the size.

Am I correct in saying that I can keep them on dry sub with a water dish.

It doesn't seem that many people keep Huahini. Would like some input from those who have

I've never kept a Chilo but the care should be similar to most Brachy's. Keep them relatively dry (although I'm still in the old ways of semi-moist and constant spraying) and have a water bowl when older. C. huahini can be picked up cheaply at www.tarantulacafe.co.za or if you want a bigger specimen for a bit more, www.petbugs.co.za I haven't bought from Tarantula Cafe yet but they're apparently very good, and PetBugs is still the best in my opinion
